2009 AIPM Project Team Member of the Year

Aaron Wigley has been announced the Australian Institue of Project Management’s 2009 National Project Team Member of the Year.

Aaron Wigley was appointed Assistant Project Manager as part of Point Project Management’s team for the delivery of new office accommodation for DLA Phillips Fox (DLA PF), one of Australasia’s largest law firms. 

DLA PF encountered this project with recent experience from delivering new offices in Wellington and Sydney over the past 3 years however they had never been challenged to formally develop an Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) agenda. On this project their lease agreement mandated them to a strict environmental performance criterion. Whilst Aaron’s primary role was to oversee the delivery of a number of aspects of the project as the Assistant Project Manager, Aaron took responsibility for leading DLA PF through the issues associated with developing their ESD agenda and designing facilities to achieve a 5 Star NABERS rating. The result was a high quality fitout project with world leading technology and two Australian firsts in office accommodation.
